Eric Hu is an MEng student in the Department of Mechanical & Industrial Engineering at the University of Toronto, analytics stream. He received his BASc in Mechanical Engineering from McMaster University in 2019. His MEng project focuses on building a predictive model for Sunnybrook Health Science Center emergency department to estimate the Physician Initial Assessment wait time. The model will help both patients and the management team know the estimated ED wait time in advance, allowing patients to be more informed and better prepared for their ED visit.
